My mission as a teacher is to offer teachings from my years of studying in a way that is accessible and useful. The practice of yoga has true potential to enhance ones' experience of self and the world around. The techniques have a capacity to strengthen connections between the body, mind and inner nature.
My teaching approaches this through asana and gently introduces some of the more introspective aspects of the practice.

The benefits of yoga are not only physical - flexibility, strength and enhanced proprioception. Cultivating focus makes it possible to dim competing distractions and move inquiry to a deeper level.
You may find equanimity in your temperament, perhaps more control and understanding of your emotions. You may find calm, a moment of peace.

As a student I am passionate about the study of multiple aspects of Yoga. From history of the origins, Indian philosophy, anatomy, meditation and developments in western science that apply to the practice today.
I will remain forever a student and am so grateful to hold space for other students as a teacher.

In my mid-20s I came to find yoga with a friend at a studio in California. Through regular physical asana practice I formed a new relationship with my body. I was hooked; travelling around the world, taking different class styles with different teachers in different studios.

After 3 years I decided to dive deeper; taking teacher trainings, establishing a deliberate Ashtanga practice and a blossoming meditation practice.
My curiosity led me to embark on a 10-day silent Vipassana meditation course in 2020. Furthering this journey I embarked on 8 week MBSR and MBCT courses.
I continue to explore and use these tools to inspire change in my life, to come to a more present way of living.
