Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow 

Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow style classes link movement with breathing to build heat in the body and focus the mind. Typically these classes start with sun salutations (surya namaskar) and go on to explore poses which build strength, flexibility and focus; Encouraging stillness in body and mind.

These classes can typically be either dynamic or restorative. Variations are offered so to appeal to all levels of practitioners. Dynamic classes may feel like a work-out but there is always focus on breathing and meditation to ensure the practice truly remains a work-in. Restorative classes allow space for slower movement and working with the body patiently.

121 Tuition

121 tuition is a great way to take your practice to the next step or get started if you are a beginner. Being able to assess your individual needs allows me to coach you in a way that ensures your practice is supporting your requirements and wellbeing; physically and mentally. Full coaching on alignment, asana variations and breathing available.

If you are interested in the Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary series, I share my experience in a 121 setting to allow focus on the specifics of this system. This allows discussion/guidance on how to learn and establish a practice in this system in a way that is safe for your body. Ashtanga Vinyasa is a challenging and prominent style from Mysore India established by P.Jois.

group/corporate yoga

Classes tailored to the needs of your group of participants. I can supply mats and props for a group of up to 12.

Yoga in the workplace can create an environment supportive to wellbeing and encourage colleagues to release the stresses of day-to-day working habits. Poses work to release physical stresses of desk or repetitive work. Breathing exercises and meditation bring participants back to a place of calm to find balance in their day. These classes send students into their day with a renewed sense of lightness. 

In addition to single sessions I offer a 6 session 'Yoga for Resilience' course. Sessions can be delivered online and in person.
